Willie Anderson Signed By Ravens.

Posted by on According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Bengals.com and the Baltimore Sun four time pro-bowl right tackle Willie Anderson will sign a three year $11 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday. By signing Anderson, the Ravens will have solved their uncertainty at the right tackle position though it is not clear when Anderson will be able to take over full time. Currently Adam Terry occupies the right tackle position and barring a surprise announcement he figures to start week one against the Anderson’s former team the Cincinnati Bengals.
Terry has been attempting to make the move from his natural position of left tackle to right tackle since OTA’s and mini-camps this past offseason, but his learning curve has been slowed by an ankle injury that sidelined him for three weeks. Terry has had lapses during this preseason and earlier in his career when trying to play at right tackle, but he has filled in at left tackle adequately when Jon Ogden has been injured. Once Anderson is up to speed with the Ravens offense the new line figures to have Terrry or Gaither at left tackle, Ben Grubbs at left guard, Jason Brown at center, Marshall Yanda at right guard and Anderson at left tackle.
